CARLOS MIELE S/S 2010

Sounds of samba echoed through the runway room as the designer debuted his well-rounded collection with pieces for both day and night. Pairing pleated boleros with his shadow-dyed sweeping gowns, the designer also showed t-shirts, jackets and other more retail friendly silhouettes.

Despite noteworthy pieces as a whole, it was the details that stole the show for Miele. Heavy metal beading paired with light wool and floral appliqu├ęs took home the prize as the most memorable embellishments of the show.
