I must say that there are even some “vintage” Isaac Mizrahi for Target finds that are fabulous – a friend came over for dinner the other night and no one could believe she was wearing a $14 coat from Mizrahi’s Target collection that she had purchased a few years back.
As for his collection this season, it was pure flirty drama.
Models walked down flights of stairs before walking the cat walk. At one point a rain machine spewed-out man-made rain, and a golf cart made an appearance.
In the collection, however, Mizrahi displayed a knack for carefully constructed geometric angles.
Of particular note was his work with tulle that was carefully swiveled, and his various takes on the classic tuxedo jacket, along with flirty separates and dresses that come complete with ruffles, beading, and pastel colors.
