I remember reading an interview with Kelly Cutrone a few seasons ago where the publicist was asked by New York Magazine if she would be appearing on “The City”. Her answer was basically something like – “Are you crazy? it’s one thing to appear on a spin-off of a reality show, but I won’t appear on a spin-off of a spin-off of a reality show.” Well, as we all know, that turned out not to be true.
Kelly Cutrone was the reason that many tuned into “The Hills” and subsequently “The City,” both of which were spin-offs of “Laguna Beach,” so it was only a matter of time before the fashion PR maven (she owns her own agency, People’s Revolution) got her own reality show.
