Here's a look at more of the notable Resort 2014 shows.
It was hit or miss this season for Roberto Cavalli. On the plus side the designer showed killer fringe bags and leather separates and on the more unfortunate side there were brightly colored oriental prints, patchwork lace and embroidered tops.
Frida Giannini loosened up silhouettes for her Rio de Janeiro-inspired Resort collection. A rusty palette and paisley and colorblocked vertical stripe prints gave a 70s feel to many of the relaxed looks.
Karl Lagerfeld gave a highbrow sportswear twist to his resort collection for Fendi this season. The designer paired, for example, cream sweatpants with snakeskin stripes on either side with a fitted leather biker jacket. Vibrantly colored printed separates were also in the mix as were colorblocked envelope clutches.
Tory Burch went in a feminine direction for Resort showing floral prints, flower appliqué and tired long skirts amidst her signature tunics. Panama-style hats, straw and embroidered clutches and ankle tie sandals rounded out the collection.
