Burberry Prorsum Spring 2014: Candy-Colored Perfection

Forget hard-edged studs, Spring 2014 was a light, airy and utterly delectable candy-colored collection for Burberry Prorsum. Slightly oversized, outerwear was particularly strong this season — and not just the brand’s signature trench. In fact, some of the most covetable pieces were cropped, while others were cut long with a wide loose collar. Christopher Bailey also showed a number of feminine lace looks, which were expertly styled with more demure pieces to give just the right amount of sex appeal while maintaining an overall prim feminine appeal.

Polka dots and stripes made for fun graphic pops and the draped and knotted pastel-colored cocktail dresses were also winners and rounded out the beautiful collection.
