Jil Sander Spring 2014: Bare Bones from Start to Finish

Unsurprisingly, Jil Sander‘s Spring 2014 collection was a relatively bare bones, minimalist lineup. Some fringe aside, there were no embellishments as the designer opted instead to focus on crafting clean-lined shapes, most of which were cut with a good amount of breathing room.

Crop tops and cropped trousers were bountiful as was menswear-inspired outerwear and modern art-type prints. It wasn’t Raf Simons’ floor-length skirt-type riveting, but it was a solid, well-executed offering.
