Giving Rick Owens a run for his money, Jean Paul Gaultier enlisted both models and dancers for his Spring 2014 show, which included Karlie Kloss vogueing and Coco Rocha partaking in her own version of Grease.
As for the clothes, there may not have been as many overt party dresses as one might have expected, but despite the lack of bright colors and volume, there was plenty of fun to be had in the fairly dark toned collection. The best pieces, however, were the more fitted ones. A belted cream jumper with a coordinating hooded jacket, leather-topped menswear-inspired pants and a handful of pencil skirts were among the standouts. A good chunk of the collection also had an S&M feel with plenty of exposed skin, belts, zippers, netting, bustier tops and leather, all of which served to tie into the Grease/Saturday Night Fever theme.
