Jean-Charles de Castelbajac Spring 2014: Art for Fashion’s Sake

Jean-Charles de Castelbajac‘s Spring 2014 collection was based off of the idea of “art for fashion’s sake,” which translated into a lineup including colorblocked looks with arm motifs worked in, a graffiti-style multicolored oversized face hand painted onto fabric, plenty of word play prints, a variety of art deco and camo looks and bold gold lamé separates.

Though it certainly is a collection made for fashion-forward women with a love for the quirky, wearable silhouettes made it one of the designer’s more approachable collections.
