  1. My foolproof outfit is…when I’m working, typically Puma sneakers and Fabletics leggings and top.
     
  2. I never leave home without…my Lorraine Schwartz diamonds.
     
  3. Email or telephone…definitely telephone.
     
  4. My favorite fall trend is…a little leather dress.
     
  5. My favorite place to shop is…Barneys.
     
  6. The best deal I ever got was…at a secondhand store in Ojai – I snagged a Lanvin dress for $60!
     
  7. My styling secret weapon is…sewing down a strapless bra to create a corseted look (and major boobage) without the use of a corset.
     
  8. The trend/look I hope never comes back is…legwarmers.
     
  9. Something that looks good on anyone is…a little black dress.
     
  10. My favorite place in the world is…lying in my bed next to Winston (my dog).
     
  11. Every woman should own…a beautiful pair of gorgeous, pointy pumps.
     
  12. Every man should own…a sexy, amazing watch.
     
  13. If I could style anyone living or dead it would be…Ava Gardner.
     
  14. One of the best parts of my job is…the afterglow, i.e. when you actually see your work in print or a photo of someone you dressed on the red carpet.
     
  15. The least glamorous part about being a stylist is…returns.
     
  16. My style icon/inspiration is…it’s too difficult to pick just one because I think every designer is an inspiration, but I am always inspired by browsing vintage stores and seeing the clothes.
     
  17. When I was growing up, I wanted to be…an attorney.
     
  18. The best part about living in LA is…the weather is always gorgeous.
     
  19. My favorite beauty brand is…a tie between La Prairie and Kate Sommerville.
     
  20. My advice to aspiring stylists is…start by interning. Once you become an assistant, work 15 hour days, don’t be lazy, and don’t be complacent. Always look for inspiration.
     
  21. My favorite era is…the 1920s.
