It’s that time of the year again when tourists flock from all around the world to visit London’s majestic Christmas themed windows…and to do their festive shopping of course.
This year, the capital’s windows are just as spectacular as ever, with the luxury department store Harrods transforming its windows into the Harrods Express train and channeling that awe-inspiring Twenties opulence.
Harvey Nicholls has stayed true to its signature bright and bold contemporary themed windows with a glitzy party theme showcasing the best of its designers’ offerings whilst the luxurious stores that complete New Bond Street opted for a classic traditional festive touch by featuring a sprinkling of glittering lights, grand Christmas trees and tinsel. Yes, tinsel can conjure up a feeling of luxury rather than just look tacky!
The festive windows of the leading department store Selfridges also pulls in the crowds, and this year its highlights include its Barbie takeover window and giant Agent Provocateur model invading a city.
