The Modern Woman’s One-Stop-Shop: Peter Som Fall 2014 (Runway Review)

The Inspiration: The career woman who works hard but parties harder.

The Look: Work-appropriate suits, outerwear and separates; party-appropriate dresses both of the floaty and body-hugging (also: slightly daring) variety. Reinventing the floral for fall, Som went with a cool blurry-flower print—a nod to the woman who moves fast, fast, fast in all areas of her life.

The Accessories: Boots of all kind (short, animal print, tall) but all very sleek.

The Beauty: Artfully mussed (but still uber-shiny) hair and smudged-up black eyeliner.

The Casting: Among the models were Marine Deleeuw, Kel Markey and Grace Mahary.

The Takeaway: Peter Som’s angling for the modern woman’s one-stop-shop and we think he hit the nail right on the head.
