Everyone’s Talking About Rag & Bone’s Personalized Bombers for Fall 2014 (Runway Review)

The Scene: Donuts and warm drinks were served pre-show where the likes of Joe Jonas, who is randomly covering NYFW for The Cut, sat front row. Big-name models who walked included Karlie Kloss, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Joan Smalls and Georgia May Jagger.

The Inspiration: The brand’s signature effortlessly cool aesthetic mixed with a 50s and 80s English feel.

The Look: Shaggy knits, thermals, slim skirts, button down tops, check separates, splotchy prints, sheer leggings, abstract print chunky sweaters and sweater dresses, oversized outerwear and cargo sweatpants were all in the lineup, which ended with models wearing custom monogrammed bombers.

The Accessories: Slouchy or laced-up booties and boots, drawstring backpacks, structured chain evening bags along with textured and patterned handbags.

The Beauty: A statement eye and textured hair (see our backstage beauty coverage here).

The Takeaway: Rag & Bone designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville have yet to miss the mark and their latest collection proved once again to be a perfect balance of wearable, fashionable and on-trend.
