Charlotte Ronson Presents Lederhosen, Leather and Lip Imprints for Fall 2014 (Runway Review)

The Scene: A presentation-cum-runway-show in front of a floral-themed Charlotte Ronson backdrop, complete with a giant “CR” made of gilded roses.

The Inspiration: Likely the downtown-chic women that run in Ronson’s circles.

The Look: Garments for the stylish, modern city girl — someone who embraces femininity like romantic dresses covered in ruby-red lip imprints just as much as sleek, cool get-ups (hello scalloped-hem leather dress). Updated lederhosen and plenty of sheer panels rounded out the collection.

The Accessories: Heeled, lace-up sandals with black socks as a visual illusion (not straight booties!) on all the models, plus one really great wide-brimmed hat.

The Beauty: Fresh faces with bright blush and lips, while eyes were mostly left alone. Hair was sweetly pulled back and parted in the middle, with gold accents woven between strands.

The Takeaway: A little witchy, a little boho—but all cool—this new collection is perfection for Ronson.
