TORY BURCH ENLISTS SUBVERSIVE DESIGNER

While I may not be a big fan of her prim and proper cardigans, and would never wear a pair of Reva flats, I’ve been paying attention to Tory Burch’s jewelry since her Spring/Summer 2009 collection when she introduced a number of wide Hermes-esque cuffs that I went absolutely crazy for (especially since her price points come out to about 1/6 of anything that an Hermes piece would start at).

Similarities aside, Burch actually won a CFDA Award back in 2008 for her accessories when she was named Accessory Designer of the Year. Now she has enlisted a fellow CFDA winner, Justin Giunta of Subversive (who won the CFDA’s Swarovski Award for Accessories Design in 2009, and Ecco Domani’s first ever grand award for accessories design in 2008) to be the design director of jewelry at Tory Burch.
