Paris Fashion Week definitely knows what the term "save the best for last" means because the powers that be saved two megashows for the second-to-last day. We're talking Valentino and Chanel. The fashion Twitterati could hardly punch in their 140 characters about anything else and seemed just as interested in the scenery as the clothing on the runways.
Ariel Foxman tweeted a heartfelt, up-close shot of a Valentino gown. Anna Wintour got seated behind Grace Coddington (Mon Dieu!) and aside from the celeb-watching at Chanel, we've got some pics you're not likely to see anywhere else that prove how serious the set designers were when they decided a faux supermarket was the best place to present the collection. Meanwhile, Alexander McQueen and Iris van Herpen kept their sets predictably moody. Finally, we get a break from the indoor finery and mayhem with a sunrise video of Paris courtesy of a top editor.
