US Vogue was accused of racism back in 2008 over the magazine’s April cover, which featured LeBron James and Gisele Bündchen. For the annual “Shape Issue,” the front cover saw the basketball star holding the supermodel in a manner viewers thought resembled a vintage King Kong poster. The outrage even urged LeBron to comment himself, informing us that he failed to see anything wrong with the cover shot. The issue flopped on newsstands.
