Dreamy Embellishments and Pops of Colour for Melbourne Spring Fashion Week 2014 Runway Three

As always, florals are on the cards this season, with Akira Isogowa and Megan Park both serving up prints in bright and soft, muted colourways. Jayson Brunsdon took a metallic spin on the trend with a forest-like landscape teamed with bronzed-brown pieces, but also slipped in a pop of show-stopping orange (as did Nicola Finetti).

Yeojin Bae also favoured bright block colours for Spring 14, and Christine showcased a tribal vibe with contrasting prints. The real magic, however, was found in the monochromatic pieces. The black Arthur Galan AG dress with white spiderweb detail turned heads, and Nevenka‘s white lace-pieces were timelessly beautiful. Thurley took the cake for us, with exquisitely embellished, dreamy gowns.
