Fashion Palette presented the ART of Fashion designer catwalk at Sydney’s Art Gallery of NSW last night, March 10, with 13 local labels showcasing Spring 15 designs down the runway in front of a star-studded guest list.
Nicola Finetti kicked things off with playful barbie-pink asymmetrical dresses, followed by headwear extraordinaire Viktoria Novak’s royal-themed crown collection, and Aqua Blu and Wild Pony’s colourful swimwear. Arthur Galan AG’s structured, layered designs were on-point and Leona Edminston championed playful prints which could easily translate from work to play.
Thomas Lazar’s lime-green and lavender-purple gowns blew everyone away, as did Alin Le’ Kal’s hand-beaded pieces, and more stunning evening wear was showcased by the likes of Roxcii and Elle Zeitoune. Androgyny was found in Antonella Ianni’s monochromatic-heavy range, while contemporary label Nadz & Sabs played with delicate beading and silks. Oh, and we got our dose of male models thanks to LAB HOMME.
