13 Things To Know About Aussie Model Georgie Perkins

Meet Australia’s latest model-on-the-rise export: Georgie Perkins. At just 21 years old, the 5’11 beauty is killing it in the modelling industry right now. To name just a few of her accomplishments to date, Georgie has landed campaigns for brands including Manning Cartell, walked the runway for the likes of Dior and Armani and appeared in publications such as InStyle and ELLE USA.

With her international appeal and high-fashion look, it’s a no-brainer that Georgie has been snapped up by agencies worldwide, including DNA Model Management New York and London’s Storm Management, as well as being represented by Sydney’s Priscilla’s Model Management.

1. She’s got love for the homeland

“Australia is great. I used to find it too small and comfortable but I’ve come to love that the most,” she tells theFashionSpot. “Australians themselves are the best fun – friendly, easy-going, welcoming, great sense of humour. I come from a farm so I really miss the space when I am overseas. It’s also nice to hear birds and bugs and not taxis and garbage trucks!”

2. She was already well travelled before becoming a model

Georgie went backpacking for a year around Europe and Asia, although admits that it was quite different to how she travels now. She recalls being on a frugal budget and eating instant noodles most days!

“I love activities. Running, jogging, walking, bike riding, kayaking, horse riding,” she lists. “I don’t have a set routine but I try to work out each day.”

4. Her career path could have been very different

If she hadn’t been scouted, Georgie would be studying for a law degree at Sydney University, having already started the first year of the course before leaving to pursue modelling.

For a standard day away from modelling, Georgie claims, “I would definitely wear bright-green undies instead of the nude undies I always wear. I probably wouldn’t brush my hair and would definitely not wear any black. I would hire a bike and ride really fast around the city, visit my friends, dance a lot and stay up really late.”
