Our forums fell head over heels for Raquel’s Isabel Marant Spring 2016 ads and for good reason. As members pointed out, the campaign wouldn’t have been nearly as dynamic without her expertise.

Riccardo Tisci is just one of many designers who obviously adore Raquel. He cast her once again to model his Givenchy Spring 2016 collection and she didn’t let him down, navigating the runway in what appeared to be pretty uncomfortable footwear.
What’s better than one shot of Raquel? Try four pics on a single page! She showed off her moves while paying homage to Michael Jackson in a September 2015 Vogue Paris spread called "Strip Tease."
Raquel also graced the pages of Vogue in September, transforming into a true work of art in a chiffon Valentino dress.
A truly haunting shot from Raquel’s LOVE magazine Fall Winter 2015 pictorial. Who better to show off this luxe Yohji Yamamoto velvet kimono than the Brazilian stunner?
Paule Ka wasn’t exactly a brand we kept tabs on, but we started to pay attention after Raquel appeared in the line’s Fall 2014 ad campaign. She made the black and white looks featured covet-worthy.
In a rather unconventional W magazine spread from June 2014, Raquel was called on to impersonate several pieces of artwork. This pic is a great example of her ability to manipulate her body as her bent limbs mimicked the protruding nature of the eclectic piece behind her.
She’s basically the poster girl for Alexander McQueen after walking in the fashion house’s shows and starring in numerous campaigns. Raquel and McQueen are a perfect fit as the label requires someone who can disappear into the clothing to become the embodiment of the brand. The Spring 2013 ads shot by David Sims are a prime example of why this partnership works.
We never would have guessed that this Vogue Italia November 2011 cover featured Raquel upon first glance. That’s the definition of a top model. Despite not really being fans of mixing animal prints, fur and studs, we have to admit that Raquel somehow made this look hip.

From the pose to her stark countenance and of course, that spectacular gown, Raquel looked sublime in this image from the Alexander McQueen Fall 2011 campaign by David Sims.
Our hats go off to Raquel for not getting weighed down by all that clothing in this shot from Marc Jacobs’ Spring 2009 campaign.
While we’re not feeling this exaggerated Louis Vuitton Fall 2008 look, we totally buy it on Raquel. She has a knack for making you believe that whatever she’s wearing is worth having in your wardrobe.
Chanel helped Raquel get her start on the runway and she demonstrated real poise even way back in 1999. Here, she shuts down the fashion house’s Fall 2008 show.
Even when outfitted in something seemingly ridiculous, like this Manish Arora getup on the cover of V Magazine, Raquel still projects a refined elegance. That’s hard to do when you’re sporting a tin foil-inspired topper.

In perhaps one of our favorite shots ever, Raquel works all the right angles by expertly showcasing a grand Issey Miyake dress in V Magazine.
Haute couture was made for Raquel. Here, she models an elaborate Christian Dior ensemble for the fashion house’s Spring 2007 show. We’re guessing that headpiece was super awkward to wear.
Raquel owned this ombre coat and sculpted gown as she practically glided down the runway while closing Givenchy’s Spring 2007 Couture show.
We’d be checking out Raquel, too if we were in Justin Timberlake’s shoes. The model rocked the runway in a barely-there silver outfit at the 2006 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
Despite being clad in antlers and an all-consuming veil, Raquel walked the Alexander McQueen Fall 2006 catwalk in regal fashion.
Maybe it’s just us, but we’re pretty convinced Raquel could totally pull off this complex Roberto Cavalli Fall 2006 look on the streets. She’s just that cool.
She may not have the same mainstream recognition as Karlie Kloss, Gisele Bündchen or Jourdan Dunn, but make no mistake, Raquel Zimmermann is one of the best models in the industry today. The versatile 32-year-old Brazilian is a chameleon of the highest degree; she immerses herself in her projects, whether it’s going almost incognito in a conceptual campaign for Alexander McQueen or doing a strip tease for a dynamite Vogue Paris spread. Raquel has quite the resume, walking in shows for top-tier labels, like Christian Dior, Chanel, Valentino, Louis Vuitton and Viktor & Rolf, plus appearing in a variety of ads, including Hermes, Gucci, Lanvin, Alexander Wang, Shiseido, Jimmy Choo and Isabel Marant.
What we love most about the veteran model is her uncanny posing ability. Seriously, it’s amazing how gracefully awkward Raquel can be while morphing and contorting her body to tell a story. It’s truly captivating. If you memorized Raquel’s impressive catalog, prepare for a walk down memory lane as we recount her best modeling moments. And if you’re just jumping on the bandwagon (what took you so long?), get ready to be blown away.
