Moschino’s Candy Crush Capsule Release Party Was Pretty Sweet (Photos)

Thanks to Pokémon Go, the burgeoning podcast craze and our general sense of self-awareness, Candy Crush isn’t as much of a thing as it used to be. Still, many continue to spend a shameful considerable amount of time and money on the highly addictive game, including one Jeremy Scott. On Friday, the king of pop culture and luxury fashion synthesis released his latest capsule collection in collaboration with — you guessed it — the makers of Candy Crush.

The Moschino x Candy Crush capsule features swimwear for men and women, a backpack and a phone case, all decorated with imagery from the uber popular smartphone and tablet game. “As someone who is inspired by pop culture, it was only a matter of time till I’d play with the iconography of Candy Crush,” said Scott in a release. “The only thing I love more than playing the game is wearing it!”

On Saturday night, the duo fêted the collection — and Candy Crush’s five year anniversary — at Scott’s annual Coachella bash (where else?). Lucky invitees, among them Katie Perry, Rita Ora and Charlie XCX, flocked to the Corona Yacht Club to party amidst life-size candies, colorful floats and a candy-reminiscent ball pit. (Prime Instagram material.) Coco Rocha, Dilone, and Angel and Dren modeled the collection. Click through the slideshow below for party pics, then head over to Moschino to shop the collab.
