If there’s one thing we’ve learned during Milan Fashion Week, it’s that designers still know how to knock it out of the park. Max Mara gave us major flashbacks to the good old Yves Saint Laurent x Tom Ford days, Giorgio Armani is still amazing as always, Dolce & Gabbana had an array of drones (yes, seriously) fly down the catwalk carrying the brand’s latest handbags, Jeremy Scott brought Jackie O back to life for his most wearable collection yet at Moschino and, once again, Donatella Versace paid a spectacular homage to brother Gianni.

Despite the successes, there were many puzzling moments. Are we officially over Alessandro Michele’s charity shop-chic aesthetic for Gucci? Does Miuccia Prada need to take a long vacation away from Prada? Should Tod’s have used dogs as accessories on the runway? Here’s an unfiltered look at all the runway hits and misses from Milan Fashion Week’s Fall 2018 season and grab your passport for Paris!
