Jessica Alba: Get The Look

I never got into the whole “Where the Wild Things Are” movie hype, mostly because I was never a fan of the book growing up. I have to say, however, that I love the apparel and accessories collection that resulted from a collaboration between Opening Ceremony and the film’s director Spike Jonze (the exception being the handbags that resulted from the collaboration – ugly and cheap-looking are no exaggeration).

The jewelry, designed with Pamela Love, is especially great, and it’s on sale now at both the Opening Ceremony boutique in NYC and at Barneys for anyone who is looking to make a purchase. In the photo below, Jessica Alba is photographed in a faux-fur coat inspired by wild thing Carol.

The unique pieces features two contrasting faux fur textures, and while it certainly can’t be pulled-off by everyone, for those looking to make a statement come Fashion Week, this seems like a viable option (with the right amount of confidence!). Just remember to keep the rest of the look simple. Get Alba’s look now for less…the coat is on sale.
