MACKAGE F/W 2010

While the ready to wear pieces were well-executed and featured a number of staple investment pieces along with some daring body-conscious numbers (the most appealing of which were done in leather), it was their outerwear that was the most eye-catching. There were a handful of leather jackets for both men and woman that looked decadently supple, trenches with built-in wide-brimmed belts, hooded and fitted pieces, fur trimmings, and Mackage’s signature long collars.

Mackage has a distinctive signature look, and I’m glad the designers opted to stick to it this season, while expanding with very promising staple dresses and separates.
