ALEXANDER WANG F/W 2010

Business suits have never looked sexier. Pinstripe blazers, men’s trousers and button-up white collar shirts are not what you usually think of when you hear the name Alexander Wang.  But then again, Wang is most likely the only designer right now who could turn these pieces into a collection for cool hipsters.  And the even better news is that these artfully transformed staple business pieces are at a price point that all designer fans can afford.

Wang commented that his looks are more polished than past seasons, but definitely not in an uptight, traditional way. Cool layering and thigh-high leg warmers gave these suit looks a rebellious edge. Cropped jackets showed off midriffs and suit jackets were tailored to be worn as mini dresses. These looks were definitely not for the office.

Sexy, velvet leg warmers were paired with cozy sweaters.  Overcoats looked both luscious and strong at the same time.  Once again, Wang’s customers and fans will have a heap of options to choose from for Fall 2010.
