Vogue Names Kate Moss Best Dressed of the Decade

Vogue‘s “Best Dressed” issue hit the stands with Blake Lively on the cover, naming British model Kate Moss “the best dressed of the decade.”

Despite the bumps in Moss’ career – there was an unforgettable rehab stint for cocaine abuse – she is, simply put, more influential when it comes to what women wear than any other model or celebrity in the world. The ubiquity of leopard, hats, retro shades, and turbans can be attributed to Moss’ impossibly chic style.

More than a few eyebrows have been raised over the cover of the special issue, however; lush-locked Blake Lively beat out every other A-lister this time. While plenty of her contemporaries are also tops when it comes to style, she certainly deserves a round of applause for not using a stylist. Her uber-short, high-slit, bust-accenting dresses are growing tiresome, but appropriately enough, Vogue did title Lively “The Bombshell” in the issue.

Many are saying it’s a sure bet that Lady Gaga will appear on the March cover of Vogue.

We were crossing our fingers that Diane Kruger, Victoria Beckham, and Rachel Bilson would make the list. There’s always next year!

What are your thoughts on the list, agree or disagree?
