Mulberry Launches Swimwear Collection

Mulberry has long been famed for its handbags, but surged in popularity when the Alexa bag (in honor after Alexa Chung) debuted. Featuring sturdy and durable designs in soft leather, the bags have been gems for years. Under the direction of new Creative Director Emma Hill, the brand has taken a leap into swimwear. The label has produced ready-to-wear, shoes, and other accessories for some time, but are now adding bikinis to the portfolio; just in time for the upcoming summer holidays!

The collection is limited to two different styles at the moment, with inspiration taken from the English woodlands. The prints are earthy, with a slight hippy twist in the coloring and peace symbols. Mulberry bathing suits come with their own matching drawstring bags, making it easy to throw one in to your weekend bag for a quick beach getaway. Both styles are available in stores and online in July, as part of the Autumn/Winter pre-collection.
