For some, summer means a time where you can laze about, enjoying the heat, but for most people living in large cities, it’s a time where you’re sweltering on the subway, freezing in the office, and simply uncomfortable all the time. DKNY has sought to solve our summer wardrobe woes with the Spring 2012 collection. It was a show that had something for everyone. Girly girl? Try the bright pink mullet dress. Eclectic? Try one of the Marimekko-esque poppy prints. Hardcore city? Opt for either the opening look, which paired a slim blazer with a white shirtdress, or the black finale dress that paired sheer with shiny in a fluid maxi dress. Comfort reigned supreme but style ultimately won out.
