We’ve come a long way in terms of making fashion accessible so it’s only fitting that J. Crew would present their Spring 2012 collection, for the first time, at Lincoln Center. In a nod to the retailer’s influence, Beyonce attended the presentation with her sister Solange along with a slew of glossy editors. While the collection didn’t include anything groundbreaking it was brimming with the kind of wide-appealing, closet staples that head of women’s design Marissa Webb has repeatedly proven she can master.
Colors ranged from the crisp and neutral to the bold and bright and lest Beyonce be the only one in sequins, there was a bright yellow sequin top as well.
