In a Tom Ford-like (or Victoria Beckham-like up until this season) twist, the presentation of the Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2012 show took place in a fifties/sixties couture-like style with narration. Instead of walking to music, the narration included details like the model’s name, look title, and model’s likes, and each walked out carrying look numbers, which back in the day served to allow clients to mark down the looks they liked. It may have been a bit time consuming, but it makes it a cinch to point out favorite looks — in my case: 1, 19, and 25 – all of which were pure Gaultier.
