During these winter doldrums, which can be all the more bleak with a climate of bitter cold and snow, it's hard not to drift off and think of warmer temps and sunnier times. But after taking one look at L.A. design duo Current/Elliott's Spring 2012 lookbook, you might just find yourself caught in that daydream a whole lot more.  

The moody images come across like lost stills of the film Virgin Suicides, featuring a trio of doe-eyed models sporting rose pink-tinged locks as they stare listlessly around a big old Victorian home on a seemingly hazy dog day afternoon. And oh, let's not forget the best part — the clothes!

Drop-waist denim dresses, peter pan collar blouses, and floral-printed denim in a palette of various pastels mix effortlessly with striped tees, tanks, and creamy knitted cardigans. The girls, who look more like living dolls, might not look particularly happy, but forgive us if we can't help but want to tie on a pair of black-and-white saddle shoes and run over to join them.
