Jenny Packham Designs for Debenhams

British department store Debenhams has announced that bridal and red carpet favourite, Jenny Packham, will be next in their line-up of Designers at Debenhams. Launching in April, the No.1 Jenny Packham collection will offer women’s, accessories, and children’s collections exclusive to the store. "I have wanted to design a diffusion collection for some time and believe Debenhams has the experience and energy to create and produce the collection,” the designer told Vogue.com.

The collection will feature occasion-wear ranging from wedding attire to prom dresses for a fraction of the cost of her main collection. The debut collection will feature 19 dresses with both minimalist solid colors and bold prints ranging from £85 - £160. Bags, shoes, jewellery, and even headwear will also feature heavily in the collection with prices ranging from £18 - £100. Red carpet favorites aren’t ususally the collaboration type, because very few women need an arsenal of evening gowns, but this collection is the perfect opportunity for women with a smaller budget to feel that red-carpet buzz.
