Maria Grachvogel Fall 2012 Runway Review

This season’s collaboration with Erickson Beamon was remarkable, with bold earings and cross body necklaces on the designer’s draped wares. With the exception of a gold lame jumpsuit, which would be a bold red carpet choice for any star, the collection was filled with easy, wearable looks for a slightly older woman. Noteworthy looks included a string of dresses in her exclusive prints but the designer went wrong with her muted leopard, seen on pants and skirts alike. Overall, an unsurprising showing from the designer. Perhaps if she focused more on her prints and shapes she would create a lot more industry buzz.
