Mary Katrantzou Fall 2012 Runway Review
Nothing short of wearable art.
|
On the heels of a nearly sold out collection for Topshop, Mary Katrantzou debuted an impressive Fall 2012 collection. Impeccably constructed, Katrantzou fashioned her gorgeous prints – inspired by household objects – into a variety of sculpted shapes. Using both neutral and bold colored prints, the designer introduced a variety of looser silhouettes this season, often accented with sequin and crystal embellishments and finished with ruffled hems, for a collection that was truly, from start to finish, nothing short of wearable art.
