Alexander Wang Spring 2013 Runway Review

Dress shirt-inspired dresses were particularly memorable in the neutral-focused collection (black, white, silver) as well as fantastic hoodies and outerwear, notably loosely fitted jackets finished with drawstrings and oversized collars.

Looks were astutely styled with many layered so as to show off the cutouts and unlike most New York Fashion Week shows that have straightforward back and forth choreography, Wang opted for an intricately weaved walk that ended with models (including surprise model Liberty Ross), each with a glow-in-the-dark strip on their head, scattered around the runway before the lights went out and their clothes lit up.
