Taking their cue from the underlying theme of this round of Italian fashion - relaxed elegance - the fun-loving duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana focused their collection on the most laid back of garments, the silk pajama.

Loving it from her front row seat was actress Jennifer Lopez, accompanied by husband Marc Anthony. Among others on hand to applaud the duo - favorites with the entertainment crowd - were actor Matthew McConaughey and Irish pop star Roisin Murphy.

From cute little hot pants to wide palazzo trousers, the outfits were fashioned in mannish patterned silk.

Not that the look stopped at the bedroom. Using a pajama top or bottom, the duo created daytime suits, and richly embroidered cocktail wear.

In keeping with the current trends Dolce and Gabbana used precious stones to decorate their outfits or to make up the jewelry which accompanied their pajama party.
