Jonathan trained with Jimmy Choo for four years and has also worked for Cacherel, Strenesse and Gina. Based in London, Jonathan works out of a pocket sized studio in Primrose Hill where he creates the main Jonathan Kelsey line as well as the Jonathan Kelsey for Mulberry collection.
 This collection consists of five styles – a riding boot, an ankle boot, a shoe boot, a pump and a lace up shoe. The shoes come in an array of different colours from fuchsia suede to a metallic grey to a chocolate brown and the flat shoes can also be tied with ribbon.
 The shoes are made in Italy, in the same factories as Chanel and are of the very highest quality. The shoes with heels have a comfort sole built into the shoe which makes them comfortable yet stylish shoes that can be worn all day and into the evening. The heels on the shoes are about 4” high and Jonathan says “they make all women 4” taller and 10 pounds lighter!”.
 Jonathan has already established many celebrity clients. These include Amy Winehouse, Kate Bosworth, Debra Messing and Kelly Osbourne.
 This collection is the first that Mulberry has done with Jonathan and will be followed by another Kelsey for Mulberry collection for Spring/Summer 2009. The US prices range from $650 for the flats to $1,195 for the riding boots and the shoes will be stocked in Madison Avenue and Bleecker Street in New York and Melrose Place in LA.
