Agyness Deyn is reported to still be in the running to become the new Doctor Who assistant.

The supermodel could soon be ditching modelling for the coveted sidekick role, alongside new Doctor Who Matt Smith.
Fashion icon Deyn - along with Lily Allen, Kelly Brook, and Rachel Stevens - are all reportedly being considered for the part, although nothing has been confirmed.

Allen was apparently in the running for landing the role a few years ago, and reports last week suggested she was being considered once again.

Executive producer, Piers Wenger, has revealed he wants someone who can replicate the success of Billie Piper’s character, Rose.

He told Marie Claire: “Someone terribly exciting like Billie, who was at the beginning of her acting career but who had a profile for other reasons, would be great. We are looking for someone whose light can burn brightly.”

Now the new Doctor has finally been announced, the hunt it seems is officially on for a stylish and chic new assistant, and who better for that role than the fashionable Ms. Deyn?
