Rocha takes the stage at the Tribeca Family Festival

On Saturday, May 2nd, Model Coco Rocha - who has appeared on the runways for Marc Jacobs, Versace, Prada, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, Anna Sui, Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel, Balenciaga and countless others - kicked off National Model Week in New York at the Tribeca Family Festival.

The Tribeca Family Festival is a street fair and family celebration, in which an array of activities and performances take place on Greenwich Street (between Hubert and Chambers) in New York City. Local schools, merchants, restaurants, and civic organizations joined together for the day of celebration.

Rocha, who lives in New York City, took the stage at the Tribeca Family Festival to speak about empowering youth to reach their potential. The successful model answered questions about her experiences in fashion to motivate young people and taught a number of the children how to strut the runway. At the Modelinia.com booth, kids learned to pose and play dress up with model Anastasia, while receiving catwalk photos of themselves.
