The harem pant is here to stay...

The harem pant is here to stay if we are to judge by Marc Jacobs' 2010 Resort collection. He showed a beautiful gold satin pair with a turquoise top that had a black bow accent.

The stand-out look of the collection, however, was the gold lame mini number that Kate Moss wore, paired with a matching turban, to this year’s Fashion Institute Gala. The mini-dress that Jacobs showed in the Resort collection was slightly reworked from the original, and I sincerely hope the fabulous turban Moss wore will be for sale!

There were some beautiful kimono-style dresses, an abundance of floral prints (including floral details on a number of the towering shoes), embellished tweed jackets, and bright colors - all of which gave an optimistic and cruise-worthy feel to the collection.

Tibi Knotted-Waist Crepe Top, $275

A tangerine striped top not only incorporates the season's hottest color, but the tie-front silhouette works perfectly with maxi skirts and high waist pants.
