After creating incessant buzz with their Spring campaign starring Madonna, Louis Vuitton once again enlists the mega star for their Fall 2009 ad campaign...

Models getting bypassed for celebrities on the cover of magazines and as the stars of ad campaigns is not a new phenomenon, and it's certainly not one that seems likely to be going away anytime soon.

Who knew that Madonna could be even more photoshopped than she was in the last Louis Vuitton campaign?

The Fall 2009 images look altered to the point where Madonna is almost unrecognizable, and in each of the five images that have leaked she seems to be wearing some variation on the odd-looking bunny getup she wore to this year Costume Institute Gala.

Other celebs going the modeling route include Pixie Geldof, who was styled by Katie Grand when she modeled for Giles Deacon's look book in the London-based designer's East London studio. Deacon, who recently expanded into beachwear, will be showing his upcoming Spring/Summer 2009 ready to wear collection in Paris after being crowned this year's ANDAM Award winner.

Lastly, in significantly less upbeat news, a real model - supermodel Karen Mulder - was recently being held at a Parisian police station after being arrested for allegedly making threatening phone calls to a female plastic surgeon. The Dutch-born model has had a troubled past that has including an attempt at suicide in 2002, drug addition, depression, and a stint at a psychiatric hospital. The Telegraph is reporting that the caller was "screaming and shouting about the operation and became extremely threatening. There were repeated calls to the female surgeon who was extremely scared."
