Gucci collaborations, and Kate Moss' new Topshop line...

The much-talked about $500-$600 Marc Ronson-designed Gucci sneakers – called Gucci Ronson - will retail beginning on October 23rd in New York City at Gucci's limited edition sneaker tour.  But this isn't the only collaboration the Italian house has got in the works. During New York Fashion Week, Gucci and Mary J. Blige are slated to host a cocktail party in support of the R&B singer’s charity, the Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now. Gucci creative director Frida Giannini (who also worked with Ronson on his limited edition line of sneakers), has designed a limited edition black PVD twirl watch to mark the event (a portion will be donated to Blige’s charity). The watch will debut at Gucci’s Fifth Avenue flagship on September 16th and will subsequently be sold at Gucci boutiques and select department stores nationwide on the 17th for $1,895.

In other collaborative news, Dean Harris – whose jewelry has been featured everywhere from high-fashion runways to the Metropolitan Museum – will be launching a new collection for QVC on Saturday, August 29 at 7:00am during the channel’s 24-hour designer jewelry event. Signature Dean Harris will range in price from approximately $80 to $220. Post jewelery shopping, on August 31st, you can snag some Kate Moss for Topshop wears when the model’s latest collection hits stores.

Moss’ collection this season is all about the grunge.  The model told Style that this season, grunge “is all about being creative about how you put your look together, and not necessarily spending a fortune. It's about being a little bit surprising and very creative. I love the glamour of adding some vintage to my look, and have done so for years, as it keeps things original.”

If there's one person who could do grunge and make it chic, it's certainly Kate Moss.
