Recently it was announced that Mark Badgley and James Mischka of Badgley Mischka will be débuting a line for HSN called the “American Glamour Collection,” slated to launch on November 17th with a two hour special that will include a range of footwear, apparel, and jewelry pieces all priced between $39 and $499. The design team has also just announced that they have been working on a more affordable bridal collection slated for a Spring 2010 launch.
The 12 piece collection, which will be made in the same factory as the designers’ signature bridal collection (which takes credit for making the second wedding dress Kristen Davis' character Charlotte York wore in "Sex and the City"), will retail for between $2,000 and $4,000. While notably being on the high-end for bridal, this is still significantly less than the $4,000- plus price point where their signature line begins.
