Tailored dresses...

I have to admit that I have yet to see one film or one episode of a television show with Olivia Wilde showing off her acting chops. I have absolutely no clue how well the actress performs professionally, but when it comes to her style – she favors Marchesa and Brian Atwood – she couldn’t be more spot-on.

She was recently photographed in the backless Jimmy Choo for H&M dress, and that made me fight my way to the front of line when I attended the preview event to make sure that I could get my hands on the same dress. In the photo above, Wilde was photographed in the white RM by Roland Mouret Scirocco crepe pencil dress. It’s from the designer’s Fall 2009 collection, and has an asymmetric neckline and cap sleeves. She topped off the look with nude accessories. Get her look!

A tangerine striped top not only incorporates the season's hottest color, but the tie-front silhouette works perfectly with maxi skirts and high waist pants.
