Gorgeous neutrals for Pre-Fall 2010

Camel looks so warm and inviting in a cozy cape, resistant to hazardous weather in a structured raincoat and so modern and chic in a sophisticated suit. Designers are excited by the neutral tone for Pre-Fall 2010, as seen by the many collections that embraced the shade.

And why wouldn’t they be? The color is sophisticated, looks good on almost everyone, and will compliment those bright staples you find to pair it with for fall.

A soft, neutral, tweed Moschino suit separate looks hip and chic paired with black tights and high-heeled booties.

Lanvin exudes simplistic beauty in the slouchy, camel overcoat that hangs gracefully.

Chloe’s exaggerated shoulder, boxy jacket and equally structured mini skirt show a more playful side of the soft camel we once knew.

Stella McCartmey’s bell sleeve, double-breasted overcoat is stylish and youthful for a grown up fashion lover.

Cozy Prada shows a girl how to stay stylish and warm in the city during winter weather.

Even bridal/evening wear designer Monique Lhuillier jumps on the neutral color band-wagon with this soft, camel color tulle gown.

Yes, neutrals are great for spring, but throw me in a camel coat during the winter and all is well in the world again. Thanks to the designers for thinking of our sanity for Pre-Fall 2010.
