Titled "Summer Night," Collette Dinnigan's Spring 2009 collection lacked somewhat when it came to cohesiveness with butterfly prints mixed in with studded dresses, sheer lace looks, watercolor floral prints, slashes of glitter, beaded epilates, and sequin embellishments.

Only a select number of looks featured Dinnigan's signature lace. However, mixed in with the heavier studded looks, were a number of the lighter, sheer, lingerie-inspired looks that were more true to Dinnigan's aesthetic.

That said the minimally accessorized mix of sexy-chic and feminine -- if forgettable -- dresses and separates were for the most part wearable with the more tailored and less embellished, solid colored looks sticking-out as the strongest.
