A: I’ve always loved clothes and shopping, but when I discovered Wardrobe Remix on Flickr, my whole outlook on fashion changed. I became more adventurous in trying out new stuff because of the constant flow of inspiration from other remixers.
It also opened me up to the whole new world of fashion blogs, and I love how its not always about following the latest trends, but about wearing the clothes that make you feel good – that’s how the blogging community projects. You can also look good on a budget, and that’s my fashion blogging mantra.
Q: When did you first start your blog?
A: I started my blog in July 2009 so that’s almost a year ago. I decided to start one after posting to Wardrobe Remix on Flickr for about 6 months.
Q: Who takes your pictures?
A: My incredibly patient boyfriend! He’s always ready to take every outfit shot for me, rain or shine!
Q: Do you pay a lot of attention to reader feedback?
A: Definitely! Readers’ opinions matter to me, and I’m happy to hear any feedback on my outfits, content, and blog in general, as long as they are constructive. I’m always striving to improve and be better.
Q: Favorite time of year for fashion?
A: Summer and autumn.
Q: Fantasy dinner companion(s)?
A: It’ll have to be Oprah Winfrey or the whole Sex and the City gang. I’m sure dinner would be oh-so-fabulous with the girls!
Q: What do you want to be doing in five years? How do you plan to do it?
A: Good question! I’m still figuring out what I’d want to be doing career-wise. I would love to combine my passion for fashion and my love for travelling, but I’m not sure how yet. I do know that I’ll be taking a year off sometime in the next 3 years to go backpacking with my partner so that will be incredibly exciting. In the meantime, I’ll continually expand my blog, and just have fun with it!
