A few days ago, I attended an Erin Fetherston-hosted event in honor of the designer’s upcoming collaboration with Juicy Couture.
After a sit-down dinner, we made our way to the West Village’s Juicy Couture boutique, where we were able to browse through and try on the latest pieces. My eyes were immediately drawn to a slew of jackets and blazers from the brand’s higher-end line, Bird.
Perfect for a planned trip to San Francisco, the lightweight outerwear pieces are an ideal end-of-summer to fall transition piece. Or, if you live some place with cool summer nights, perfect for right now.
Another favorite was a lightweight, cropped, and perforated leather jacket. One doesn’t typically associate leather with warm weather, but the supple leather used for the perforated look (pictured below) could easily work over a simple tank as well as over something more substantial when the weather changes.
