Forum Street Style: Getting Edgy and Showing Some Skin

This week’s forum street style featured fashions from around the world, as our international forum members exhibited personal style with a hint of an edge (does anything add instant “cool” the way sunglasses do?) to casual springtime looks with bared legs and laid back attitudes.

COTTDS, Red Sole, toothfairy

COTTDS enjoyed some beautiful weather in Amsterdam while wearing Muubaa leather pants, a simple Topshop tee, a leopard clutch from Asos and perennially cool Converse sneakers.

Red Sole stepped out in a high-low mix of Zara (her shoes and top), a Missoni mini skirt, and a covetable Céline Shopper in classic black.

Toothfairy relied on her accessories for some edge. Her eye-catching scarf by Horace shows the brand’s unique take on the skull motif, and her neon bag from the Cambridge Satchel Company is equally attention grabbing. Her white blazer is by Elizabeth and James, her top is from COS, the black skinny pants are from Asos, and her patent pumps are by Neil Barrett.

Sammsterr, Petit Lucille, Liina

In Rotterdam, Sammsterr dressed for summer weather in a ruffled blouse from Asos, shorts from H&M’s Garden collection and a pair of statement shoes by Rare.

Always one to march to the beat of her own drum, Petit Lucille played with pastels in Buenos Aires, wearing a thrifted lilac midi skirt, vintage stockings, a KIL JO Fashion blouse, and Gaetano Pesce for Melissa shoes.

In an outfit she categorized as “super casual,” Norwegian Liina was laid back and comfortable in pegged jean shorts with a garter detail by Mardou & Dean, a striped boat neck top by BikBok, ballet flats by Bianco and a mint green Balenciaga bag.
