We saw an ample assortment of trends on the runway this season that don’t seem all that practical given the weather conditions most of us face in the Fall and Winter, but fur is one trend that goes against that grain.

While full-on fur coats, of both the real and faux variety, were prominent from New York to Paris, the most interesting pieces were those that featured touches of fur — if you’re going to wear sandals in the winter, they might as well be dotted with fur, right?
